New 'Harley Quinn's Revenge' Trailer; 'LEGO Batman 2' Parodies 'Arkham City'
On May 29th, players who have long since restored order to Arkham City will have a brand new reason to patrol the streets. That’s the day Harley Quinn’s Revenge will become available for download, and the Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition — which includes every bit of Arkham City’s DLC, up to and including Revenge — hits retailers. A new trailer (above) shows off just what Harley has in store for those brave enough to take her on.
Mere weeks later, Batman and a whole slew of his Super Hero pals return to fight crime and right injustices once again — though, in a vastly more kidfriendly fashion. LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes arrives June 19th, and though it may lack the gritty realism of Arkham City, the developers at Traveller’s Tales couldn’t help but pay their respects to Rocksteady’s masterpiece with a few choice renders of characters from DC Super Heroes.
A hero’s work is never done. Harley Quinn’s Revenge finds our girl Harley taking charge of Arkham City’s villainy, and putting a stop to her psychotic plot is going to take the ideal efforts of both Batman and Robin. Billed as the Dynamic Duo’s “final challenge,” Revenge is presumably the last bit of DLC for Batman: Arkham City, leaving players to ponder what’s next for the developers at Rocksteady Studios (at least until E3 2012 begins one week later).
Promising roughly two hours of content, Harley Quinn’s Revenge will set players back $9.99 on PlayStation Network and 800 MS Points on the Xbox Marketplace. The Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition, meanwhile, carries an MSRP of $49.99 on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
